What is included in the Legal fees
- Consultation and advice- We will schedule an initial consultation to discuss your case. At the meeting we will give you the opportunity to discuss the case and we will give you the best advice tailored to your situation
- Case assessment and strategy: An experienced solicitor will assess your case, review the document and evidence or any applicable laws or regulations and will do the best to get a positive outcome for you.
- Document preparation and review: We will handle the preparation and review of all the documents concerning your case like applications, agreements, contracts, pleadings etc. We will ensure that the documents are accurate and comply with the laws and regulations by protecting your interests.
- Communication: We will communicate with you and to any relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Case management and administration: We will manage your files, meet the deadlines and ensure everything is done on time. We will keep you updated with the progress of your case by maintaining a proper communication.
FEES
As per the SRA’s transparency Rules, we are pleased to provide you with the detailed description of the costs involved which includes our fees and associated immigration application fees and other disbursements if any:
Legal fees: Our professional fees is based on the type of application, the complexity, hours etc, we will give you a clear breakdown of our fee at the initial consultation. Fee is calculated based on £260 per hour. Mrs Susan Michael with over 10+ years of experience will be solely responsible for all immigration applications. The fee include:
- considering documents
- attending on the client
- taking their instructions and providing advice
- preparing and submitting the application
- advising the client on timelines and the outcome of their application
Most immigration applications are considered within 8 weeks but some applications like human rights/20 years long residency applications can take up to 11 months. We will keep you updated with the progress.
- Application fees: The home office fees vary according to the category or type of applications. They are subject to change, which will be available on the home office website. We will keep you updated with the latest information. There will be separate fee for the main applicant and the dependants. You will also be required to pay the Immigration health surcharge based on the years. Home office fees is non-refundable.
- Disbursements: As part of the application process, for some applications you will incur costs for translation or legalization of some documents. As it will be from a third party (registered translators/legalisation office) the fee can vary for each documents.
- VAT- We will confirm whether VAT at a rate of 20% is payable when you instruct us. As we are not registered for VAT, our fee will not attract VAT for in country and out country applications. If there is any changes, we will inform you at the initial meeting.
